Laura has recently moved to Mississippi during 2020.
Laura has worked with her hands for almost 20 years as a potter. She became a massage therapist in 2017 and immediately related to the manipulation of muscles and its similarity to clay. Laura’s touch is intuitive and gentle so she was quickly drawn to work with the elderly and oncology patients.
She has completed the following courses in an effort to further her knowledge and skills:
Final Touch Training, Massage for the End of Life with Susan Gee and Cindy Spence (Sep 2018)
Massage for People Living with Cancer with Gayle MacDonald (Feb 2019)
Oncology Massage – Caring for Clients with Cancer with Tracy Walton and Associates (Oct 2019)
Laura currently works at Vivian’s Boutique Day Spa in Dallas as her full-time job and volunteers at Sammons Cancer Center in the infusion suite providing hand and foot massages to patients and their caregivers three days a week.
