Lisa Nemeckay has been a licensed massage therapist since 2001, graduating from the Dayton School of Medical Massage in Dayton, Ohio. Over the years as a therapist, Lisa built on this foundation with numerous continuing education courses including Tracy Walton’s “Oncology Massage Therapy: Caring for Clients with Cancer” in 2014 and I will be attending “Oncology Massage” taught by Gayle MacDonald in March 2015. Not having much experience with oncology massage, these courses allowed Lisa to grow as a therapist and be able to provide support and comfort to this special population of clients. Learning that the gentlest touch can provide such an impact on the body and mind was an eye-opening experience for her. Lisa also practices Swedish, prenatal, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release techniques and orthopedic massage at her private office in the East Dallas Area. Lisa joined OMA in 2015 and is volunteering at the Baylor infusion center in Dallas.
“I am honored to be able to provide a caring touch to those battling cancer!”
