Our dear Susan has moved to New Mexico to start her wonderful practice there. She will remain with the OMA family as a Support therapist and continue her wonderful practice there.
Susan received her massage training from Texas Healing Arts Institute in 2009, after relocating to Austin from Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, where she has had a home for the past 20 years. She holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Middlebury College in Vermont, as well as an MFA in Theater Arts from the University of Arizona. Susan joined the Oncology Massage Alliance in 2013, after completing Tracy Walton’s intensive course Oncology Massage Therapy: Caring for Clients with Cancer. She is also a Preferred Provider through the Society for Oncology Massage. Susan’s massage practice is enhanced by her in-depth education and her experience as a performing artist and teacher of dance, experiential anatomy, and movement. Her clients describe her massage as flowing, focused, mindful, caring, and tuned in to their individual needs.
